A water supply scheme is in operation to provide clean drinking water to the citizens of the city. The main part of this city is Urun. That is why the name of this city Adi Urun is called Urun-Islampur. There is a big temple of Shankara in this Urun area. Every year there is a huge Urus for eight days in the name of Shambhuappa. There is a Rajarambapu Patil Cooperative Sugar Factory and a big Ram temple next to it. .Adjacent to the temple is the Rajarambapu Patil College of Engineering.
